Techniques mixtes  sur toile

Claudia's work is autobiographical and illustrates her inner research. With the result of an analysis, she understands how her whole life has been locked up in blockages. She uses then her copy-art with the theme of vegetation, after the cuts, the deformations, she recomposes and rebuilds them in a special composition. In this way she creates a Paradise of patterns still rich in memories but arranged and associated in such a way, to offer a space of freedom for the imagination of each one.

By curiosity, she hopes that the spectator will penetrate into the canvas, then interject, travel and dream each time in a different way by discovering or creating his own suggestions with the same painting.

Claudia is specialized in collage since the age of 18, despite the use of new media she always comes back to the collage with which she feels very comfortable because very much practiced. She will experiment with many supports at the beginning and end up choosing the canvas that gives them very high stability. She also most often uses her own photos, having built her image bank all her life, which accentuates her own style.
